Grottammare

It is situated at an altitude of 4 m on the North of the Tesino river outlet. In the village there are the churches of Sant'Agostino and Santa Lucia, the castle (XIV century) and the swimming area. There are textile, grocery and wood industries. Products: wine, olives, fruits, citrus, cereals and forages. It is the homeland of Pope Sisto V.
