Montegranaro

It is situated at an altitude of 277 meters on a rise between the Chienti River and the Ete Morto torrent. There is a thriving shoe industry (approx 250 small enterprises) and associated activities (articles for footwear and boxes for shoes). Livestock (bovine and swine) breeding is also important. There is an interesting XIII century mural in the parish house of San Filippo and San Giacomo.
