The property takes its name from what happened on June 20 of the '935 when the monks decided to move here Farfensi the virgin martyr Santa Vittoria, to give more prestige to their territory, the matenano. 
Once in this exact spot the oxen that pulled the chariot with the sarcophagus of carved stone containing the remains of the virgin on the wagon stopped no longer wanted to climb the mountain, then the monks began praying, and suddenly saw this spring place the source of the milk. Since that day, the women, who needed milk after pregnancy, began to travel to this sacred place to drink the 'water that flows from the source.
